Think Happy Thoughts

Name:
lalapooch

About me:

Who I am changes with every minute I spend here on this earth, with every word I utter, with every thought that crosses my mind, and with every action I do.

But I can, perhaps, paint you fairly accurate picture of the patterns that I – with my experiences, words, thoughts, and actions – make:

~

My name is Lala and I was born on January 18, 1988.

I was lucky enough to be born into a wonderful and loving, if a bit eccentric, family.

I am an optimist and a skeptic – and I do not think these two things are contradictory.

I believe in Secular Humanism, and I embrace logic and truth and justice. But I am very interested in Existentialism.

I am a miser.

I am child-like.

I am almost always polite.

I am not very ‘social’. In fact, I am shy and a bit reserved. I’m a bit hard to get to know. I only have a handful of friends, but all of them are true.

I pride myself in my diplomatic skills.

I always smile.

I am secretive.

I consider respect as a ‘given’ when I meet someone. You don’t have to gain it. I’ll give it to you willingly. Be careful, though, that you don’t lose it as I don’t keep any ‘reserves’.

At my best, I am fair, decisive, logical, inquisitive, and insightful.

At my worst, I am apathetic, stubborn, mean, unforgiving, selfish, lazy, passive aggressive, and sarcastic.

I tend to withdraw into myself during hard times.

People always seem to think that I’ll get run over by a car when I cross the street. K

I’m one of those people who live inside their heads. And, sometimes, I may seem absent-minded.

I love to read, write, paint, and draw.

I love music – but for the life of me, I cannot create it. (The genres I prefer are classical and alternative)

I love art.

I love history.

I love philosophy.

I love books.

I love dogs.

I love chocolate.

I love anime.

I love a lot of things.

I am happy.

About this Journal:

This journal is my companion as I walk (skip, hop, run) down the yellow brick road. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't -- but that's how it is inside my head, so meh~ XD
